A special thanks to Lieutenant Colonel Anita Fligge, USAFR, NC for her military service. LtCol Fligge, the Transfusion Safety Officer at John Muir Health System, is currently deployed to Afghanistan as the Program Manager for the Joint Theater Trauma System.
