Vice President, Program Services

Joseph Thomas is a registered nurse and currently serves as Vice President of Program Services for Strategic Healthcare Group, LLC. He has clinical experience in both critical care nursing and blood management program development. In 2002 he developed a nationally recognized program built around safer, more evidence-based blood utilization and served as Director of Blood Management for the Western Region of the Cleveland Clinic Health System until joining Strategic Healthcare Group in 2007. Over the past decade he has educated and mentored thousands of physicians and nurses on transfusion related topics and worked with over 85 hospitals throughout the country. Mr. Thomas is also a nationally recognized speaker and a published author in the field of blood management and transfusion safety.
