BloodStat® is the proprietary data management component of the Strategic Blood Management™ Informatics suite. BloodStat® Multidimensional Analytics provide the clinical and business intelligence to identify, improve and maintain blood management opportunities.

The BloodStat® data set is the largest clinical blood utilization database in the U.S., containing millions of patient encounters from hundreds of hospitals. The BloodStat® database is a representative set of both community and academic hospitals of various sizes, providing both normative and benchmark data. The BloodStat® database is efficiently mined using a powerful multidimensional OLAP engine, gathering data from disparate hospital systems (clinical, laboratory, financial) and combining them in novel ways to provide actionable intelligence.

BloodStat® Scorecard reports provide a baseline snapshot of blood utilization benchmarking, clinical and financial information. BloodStat® Dashboard reports include trending reports, clinical opportunities identified and key performance indicators. The BloodStat® Online portal provides real-time access to critical blood utilization information using both standard and ad hoc reporting capabilities.
