Blood Management Exchange®
Blood Management Exchange® (BMX) is the knowledge management component of the Strategic Blood Management™ Informatics suite. BMX is as a powerful vehicle for developing and sustaining comprehensive blood management programs, functioning both as an engagement and empowerment tool. The BMX Toolkit provides clinical update services, clinical practice guidelines, expert articles, best practice policies and procedures, and an extensive reference library. A powerful search engine is embedded in the site for ready access to pertinent literature as well as the applicable program tools. Blood Management Exchange® also promotes networking and collaboration between blood management programs through the BMX Network. The BMX Network is a vibrant online community for clinicians and administrators to post questions, share best practices, and learn from an international network of blood management experts. Blood management program directors and transfusion safety officers greatly appreciate the efficiency of “one stop” access to program resources provided through BMX, as well as the networking, coaching and mentoring opportunities.
